KEY ACTIVES

• HPR complex 5% (hydroxypinacolone retinoate, as a 10% solution): the top of the recommended use level. A retinoid that binds the skin's retinoid receptor directly, with none of the conversion steps retinol needs.

• Niacinamide 5% (vitamin B3): the level used in a 12-week study on fine lines and blotchiness. It also supports the barrier a retinoid leans on.

• Bakuchiol 1%: a plant active with retinol-like activity through a different, non-retinoid pathway.

• Hyaluronic acid: holds water in the skin.

• Why it's golden: the colour comes from the retinoid itself.

HOW TO USE

• Nights only. After cleansing and your serums, before the Restorative Moisturiser.

• Weeks 1–2: two nights a week. Weeks 3–4: three to four nights. After that, every night if your skin is comfortable.

• Feeling tight or flaky? Drop back a step; there's no need to push through.

• Not on the same night as the Smoothing Gel: use them on alternate nights.

• Keep it off the eyelids and the area right around the eyes.

• Use SkinSmart Day Cream SPF 30 every morning.

• Not for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
