It carries RetinART™, a bio-retinoid grown from microalgae. In its study it was comparable to 0.3% retinol over eight weeks, with zero redness, flaking, itching or burning at every check. Bakuchiol works through a different, non-retinoid pathway, so the two complement each other. Ceramides, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid help rebuild the barrier that keeps water in, and plant oils and shea butter make it feel like a proper night cream.
